Screaming Weenie at Prismatic Festival in Halifax

July 12, 2012 by admin
Screaming Weenie heads east to Halifax and is proud to co-present a staged reading of C.E. Gatchalian's play Falling In Time at the Prismatic Festival.

Thursday September 20, 2012  I  530pm at the Sonic Temple.

Falling in Time is set in Vancouver  in 1994 and tells the story of four individuals, across two continents and over a  span of more than forty years. The lives of these characters miraculously  intertwine in Vancouver playwright C.E. Gatchalian’s uncompromising meditation on war, masculinity, sexuality,  personal boundaries, and love. Falling in  Time asks the question, how do we let go?

About the Prismatic Festival

Prismatic is striving to be Canada’s premier festival for new works by culturally diverse artists. Through the artistic events, Prismatic will enable a wide audience to engage with a variety of artists and art forms. Through, professional development activities, Prismatic will break down the barriers of geography and artistic discipline to facilitate artistic innovation, collaboration amongst artists and professional development. In short, through Prismatic, we will promote the development of culturally diverse artists and provide a platform to debut their new works, collaborations, and experiments.
