The world premiere of Ga Ting ('Family"), a play written by Minh Ly, produced by the frank theatre company and Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre, in partnership with The City of Richmond.
The play is about an immigrant Chinese couple attempts to come to terms with their son’s death, and who he truly was, by inviting his Caucasian boyfriend over for dinner.

IF YOU ARE TAKING THE CANADA LINE:
- Take the Richmond-Brighouse line and get off at the terminus station, Richmond-Brighouse.
- Cross the street to Richmond Centre Mall (entrance directly to the left of White Spot).
- During mall hours (it’s open till 6 pm Sundays, 7 pm Tuesdays and Saturdays and till 9 pm Wednesday to Friday), you can enter the mall, walk straight through and exit on the other side. If the mall is closed, simply walk around it till you arrive at the other side.
- When you walk out, across from you, past the parking lot and to your left you will see a big round brown building. That’s the Richmond Cultural Centre. There will be sandwich boards on the sidewalk directing you to the entrance.
