It is that time of year again, one of our favorite events of the season, the frank theatre’s Annual General Meeting.

As our we enter the end of 2021 and move into 2022, the board of directors are honoured to invite you, along with your friends and family to our AGM.

This is not your average AGM. This is going to be a celebration of the incredible season that we had in 2021 as well as letting you all know about what we have in store for 2022! You’ll also get to mingle virtually with the board and our incredible team.

We encourage you to dress in your finest and fanciest attire! And also, being that this will be virtual we won’t be able to provide you refreshments, but we did want to provide you some delicious recipes for some of our favourite cocktails and mocktails for your drinking delight.

Cocktails & Mocktails

Pomegranate Cocktail
(John from Preppy Kitchen)


2 fluid ounces citron vodka, 1 fluid ounce Cointreau or other orange liqueur, 2 fluid ounces fresh pomegranate juice, 1/2 fluid ounce fresh lime juice.


Juice your pomegranate. Add ice to shaker.

Add 2 fluid ounces of citron vodka to the shaker.

Add 1 fluid ounce of Cointreau, or Grand Marnier to your shaker.

Add 2 fluid ounces of fresh pomegranate juice.

Add 1/2 a fluid ounce of fresh lime juice.

Shake well, and strain into cocktail glasses.

Old-Fashioned Cocktail


1 sugar cube (or 1 bar spoon simple syrup), 2 dashes Angostura bitter, 2 ounces rye or bourbon, Orange twist


Muddle the sugar cube and bitters with one bar spoon of water at the bottom of a chilled rocks glass. (If using simple syrup, combine bitters and one bar spoon of syrup.) Add rye or bourbon. Stir.

Add one large ice cube, or three or four smaller cubes. Stir until chilled and properly diluted, about 30 seconds. Slip orange twist on the side of the cube.

Watermelon Mocktail


3 cups cubed watermelon seedless, ¼ cup lime juice about 2 limes juiced, 8 cups club soda, 8 sprigs of mint


Cube watermelon. Remove any seeds.

Slice four thin rounds from your limes. Set aside to be used for garnish. Juice the rest of the two limes.

Combine the cubed watermelon and lime juice in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Using a sieve, strain the watermelon and lime mixture until you’re left with just the juice. Set aside.

Place 5 mint leaves at the bottom of each glass. Use a muddler to release the flavor of the mint.

Fill cups with ice. Pour watermelon juice halfway full. Top with club soda until full. Gently stir with a spoon.

Garnish each glass with a thin slice of watermelon, a sprig of mint, and reserved lime wedge. Enjoy!

The Queen Bee Cocktail


2oz Empress 1908 Gin, ¾oz Lemon Juice, ½oz Honey, 1tsp Apricot Jam, Cinnamon Stick or Powder


Shake ingredients with lots of ice, and double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a shaved cinnamon stick or cinnamon powder.

Pumpkin Apple Shandy


12 oz pumpkin beer, 10 oz apple cider, 2 oz bourbon


Add beer, apple cider, and bourbon to pitcher and stir carefully. 

Pour into 2 glasses and garnish with apple slices, if desired, and serve immediately
