Kick off the year in style with the frank at our hip-hop themed community-building Cabaret honouring the late, great Amy Winehouse, featuring some of Vancouver’s finest LGBTTQ artists. The evening will be hosted by the forever-fabulous Delica C as the talented, enigmatic and ill-fated Ms. Winehouse.
This promises to be a lively celebration of LGBTTQ music, writing and art including readings and performances by award-winning author Amber Dawn (How Poetry Saved My Life: A Hustler’s Memoir), Daniel Zomparelli aka DJ That’s So Raven, trans poet and activist Antonette Rea, author Aaron Chan, singer/songwriter Oliver O’Dea and poet Amal Rana. And audiences will get to sing along to their favourite Winehouse tunes!
Alongside the Cabaret there will also be a silent auction with prizes from:
