the frank is always in need of awesome volunteers to fulfill a variety of tasks in our office, during our productions and out in the community. We are formalizing the process just a little by asking you to register and tell us a little about yourself so that we can match you with the right opportunities! Volunteering is a great way to network, meet new friends and learn more about theatre and the frank.
We know your time isn’t free and we appreciate your commitment to us! Volunteers will be recognized with one ticket (for an upcoming show) for each 3 hours of logged volunteer time (tasks that require more effort will be compensated accordingly).
Check out the volunteer roles below and then fill out the
online application form! (We’ll send you a note when we receive your application form).
Sometimes we need marketing material, press releases or scripts translated into another language to make our productions more accessible to different communities. Other times we may need a translator on hand at an event.
You are fluent (written and verbal) in another language or two and have a passion for sharing the frank word!
We’re never ones to shy away from the tough conversations, but often it’s nice to know that someone’s there to listen if you need it. Some of our shows contain material that some viewers might find difficult to process on their own, so we have active listeners on hand in case they need to chat during or after the performance.
You are a great listener and possess active listening and empathy skills. You have some experience working in mental health or counselling. Your friends come to you with their worries, but somehow you’re able to keep calm through it all!
There’s always stuff to be done around the frank office! Data entry, envelope stuffing, sorting, filing etc. it’s gotta get done somehow!
You are a magician with a spreadsheet and an organizational wiz kid! You have some experience working in an office environment, especially with computers, and are available during the day.
